Firewood Delivery Information
At The Log Shop, we aim to make ordering and receiving your firewood as simple and stress-free as possible. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how our firewood delivery works.
Free Local Firewood Delivery
We offer free local delivery to customers within the following postcode areas: S, WF, and LS. If you’re based in South Yorkshire, Hope Valley, West Yorkshire or Leeds, your order will be delivered by our team, usually within a few working days.
Our only condition is that your order total is at least £45.
Collect from Our Sheffield Shop
Prefer to pick up your order? You can choose to collect from our Sheffield shop at checkout. Please note that same-day collection is not available. Once your order is ready, we’ll send you an email to let you know — this is typically from the next working day. We’ll hold your order for 7 days after it’s ready, so you can collect at a time that suits you.

Crates and Pallets
The information below applies only to customers receiving deliveries of crates or pallets, whether locally or nationwide.
If you’re receiving a loose log delivery directly from The Log Shop van, this does not apply — we’ll deliver and stack your logs as agreed.
Crates and pallets are delivered using a large vehicle with a tail-lift and pallet truck, via the UK delivery network.
Delivery is made to the nearest accessible point at the edge of your property.
The driver cannot move the crate or pallet beyond that point, or into garages, gardens, or through your home.
Please ensure the delivery location is suitable for a large vehicle and clear for safe unloading.
If your road is narrow, steep, has overhanging trees, gravel or soft surfaces, or limited turning space, please let us know in advance.
The driver will lower the crate or pallet to the ground and move it as close as possible using a pallet truck — but they cannot move it over gravel, grass, steep slopes, or steps.
You are responsible for moving and stacking the logs from the drop-off point to your desired storage area after delivery.
Delivery cannot be left on the public road if it causes an obstruction.
